Have you ever read a confession that got a shiver run down your spine? If not then get ready to read this mind-boggling novel by one of New York's bestselling author - Colleen Hoover, that comes with an artful twist.

It follows the story of Lowen, a writer who is currently going through a lot of ups and downs in her life. One day she meets a charming & mysterious man named Jeremy Crawford under some awful circumstances and the next she discovers that she was getting hired to finish the last three books of his wife, Verity. She is a famous and successful author of a popular book series and is currently bed ridden due to some injury. The pay scale is huge so naturally Lowen accepts the offer and goes to live at the Crawford's home for a few weeks to familiarise herself with Verity's works.
While sorting through Verity's notes and belongings Lowen makes a shocking discovery. She finds a mysterious manuscript titled "So Be It " that outlines Verity's life story. She reads through a spine-tingling confession that outlines all the tragic incidents that has impacted Verity's family.
Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. However, as she
develops romantic feelings for him, her sense of protection and honesty increases. So what will happen to the three of them after the secrets are out?

When I finished reading this book I couldn't just tear myself up from the heavy emotions I was feeling with a racing heart and shaky hands. I was completely shaken up with the blood curling twist at the end keeping me wondering about it for weeks.

Though here's an warning - its not a book for the faint-hearted as it contains dark and disturbing contents featuring graphic depictions of abuse. But its definitely a must read for psychologocal thriller fans like me.
