STORM BENEATH THE GREY

STORM BENEATH THE GREY

TIME PASSES... MEMORIES FADE... THOUGHTS REMAIN... BUT THOUGHTS ETCHED IN THE MEMORY NEVER LEAVE THE HEART OF THE SOUL.
~Keethana, Storm beneath the grey.
My Ratings: 3/5
Storm beneath the grey is a compilation of 5 different short stories which touches the reader from within. These stories tend the reader to think about them again and again.
Each story is different with totally different plots and themes.
The book is divided into 5 parts:
1. Untie the knot
2. A grey shade of love
3. Holocaust of the womb
4. A new beginning
5. The insignia
The first story UNTIE THE KNOT is a kind of story which I hadn't read before. It was new get exciting and intriguing.
When I started reading 2nd story i.e. A GREY SHADE OF LOVE, I felt like I was reading any classic novel. The sense of choosing words is wonderful.
HOLOCAUST OF THE WOMB was an emotional read for me and I learnt a lot about human tendency; how we judge even our loved one according to what we see or feel.
The next story A NEW BEGINNING is my favourite. Again, I would say that I felt like reading a classic novel. This story is heart breaking a d thoughtful as well.
THE INSIGNIA is the only story which didn't fascinate me. It has been set up in ancient India. Although the message it gives it strong and the art of playing with words is appreciable but I couldn't connect with it.
I really appreciate the author for the way she has written this book. I would be eagerly waiting to read more work of Keerthana Sampath .
