The story introduces us to Vivian and Dante.

Vivian is the ideal daughter, raised by a successful jeweler. She has been taught to conform to her parents' expectations, even if it's not what she desires, such as getting married. Vivian has always anticipated that her parents would eventually decide her future spouse, but she never imagined it would be Dante Russo.

Dante is one of the richest CEO’s, and is not someone you would typically cross paths with. However, when he is compelled to become engaged to Vivian, he gradually discovers that she might possess unique qualities that set her apart.

I found Vivian to be highly relatable as a character. The pressures of being a "good Asian daughter" felt very authentic. Many readers, especially those from Asian backgrounds who value family and have been raised in a certain way, will likely resonate with the internal conflict of trying to balance their own desires and making their parents happy, even if it means sacrificing personal happiness or peace of mind. It was disheartening to witness how Vivian allowed her parents to take advantage of her, but I admired her fiery spirit when it came to dealing with Dante. She displayed sharp wit, refused to tolerate mistreatment, and exuded confidence and strength.
Dante, too, was well-developed as a character, and while his backstory was somewhat melancholic, it wasn't the most extreme among billionaire-themed stories. His arc adhered to the typical portrayal of a wealthy, unattainable Italian figure with hints of mafia influence. However, I did appreciate his sincere efforts to make amends and win Vivian back. His display of sensitivity and patience, qualities not typically associated with his character, made it all the more satisfying to witness.

'King of Wrath’ definitely made me want for more. And I can’t wait to read the next book in the series - 'King of Pride'.
