This book picks up right where the last book left off. After Atlas's little reunion with Lily he returns to one of his restaurants to investigate a case of vandalism. Upon seeing that nothing else but food was stolen, he develops empathy towards the mysterious stranger and waits for a text from Lily.
At work, Lily struggles to concentrate after her run-in with Atlas. As a survivor of domestic violence, Lily worries about her abusive ex-husband Ryleโ€™s reaction to her dating again as they co-parent their baby daughter, Emerson.
Through constant ups & downs Lily & Atlas navigates through their relationship and their beautiful, innocent love blooms along the way. Switching between the perspectives of Lily and Atlas, we finally get insights on Atlas's past.

Here Coho also explores the complexity of hate โ€” playing with the readersโ€™ sense of right and wrong at times. Also unlike the prequel this one had pretty funny moments & light-heartedness sometimes. Well not much could be told about this book without giving spoilers, so i guess you should give it a read to find things out.
Well I absolutely loved this book from the beginning to the end, so ofcourse I'm gonna recommend it to all the Lily-Atlas shippers out there. Though obviously I must add that this book totally served as a fan service and truly won our hopeless romantic heartsโค๏ธ
