This book follows Lily, a girl in her early twenties, with a dream to open her own flower shop. She grew up in a small town named Maine, but after her graduation she moves to Boston and hopes to start her own business. One long night she meets and falls for Ryle, a thriving neurosurgeon who is determined to be the best in his field.
The two hit it off hard, and things seem almost too good to be true. Ryle is everything that Lily is not. He is forward, assertive, and stubborn. He is also a lot of thing Lily is; he is strong, passionate, and motivated to chase their dreams. Though the two have an instant connection and sparks fly, but things are not always as they seem to be at first.
As their relationship pushes forward Lily finds herself looking back at her journal entries and thoughts of her first love Atlas resurface. He was the homeless boy who found his way into the abandoned house next door & to her Heart. Atlas and Lily as teens formed an unlikely friendship & develops a bond that could never be broken. ).When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

If an emotional rollercoster had a name then undoubtedly its - IT ENDS WITH US. This book had me captivated since its first page. It had me laughing, swooning & crying all over it. This is the first CoHo book I read and damn not only I fell in love with her writing style but also was overwhelmed when I read the author's note at the end (Please don't read it at first out of curiosity as somethings are better off at the end). The kind of effect this book had in me was just incomparable. It will remain my all time fav forever.
