Here's what the book talks about:

A young man left the shore, leaving his people behind.
An old man reached the shore, leaving his loved ones behind.
The young man was all alone.
The old man was accompanied by sages.
One had fear in his mind, and the other, rage.
One had the strength, and the other, wisdom.
Will the youth be wasted in the young, and the wisdom drained from the old?
They were awaiting their destiny, unaware that it was, in turn, awaiting their union.
The Deep Blue Sea can be the only witness of this spectacle; their interwoven destiny.
Live . Love . Lead
Footprints is a work of fiction, inspired from real-life events, although its characters are imaginary.

This book is a shallow of wisdom. The plot is some kinda new and refreshing. This is a story of Ramji and his son Karam who lost his mother in childhood residing in USA.
Ramji visits him homeland Kudi in India after a long period of time and stays in a hotel along with some saints.
He do diary entries for his son Karam which are mesmerizing. This book is philosophical and I loved it. It talks about embarassing situations of those living in rural areas. Also, it includes some politics happening in Kudi.
Ramji notices that something is not positive in the village and want to meet a guy Vishwa. Would he be able to meet him?
Would he be able to find out the wrong he felt in the village?
Pick up this book of wisdom and philosophical quotes to get inspired.

Few are the worth-mentioning lines I found in this book:

To be happy for no reason, to support people around us without any expectations, to save the environment in exchange for all that we get from it. We need not wait a single moment before we start to improve our little world.

The world doesnโ€™t owe me anything just because I am good at heart.

As I am writing this, I must say that I witnessed the stars in all their glory today and they indeed look different to me.

Our lives have been shallower, just like the flowing river which runs its path irrespective of its destination; whereas it has to be like a sea which has a destiny and yet stays still with its great depth.
